2021 is the start of another decade and for many brings a perceived “fresh start”. Many use the energy of the new year to motivate or drive the opportunity for “new beginnings”. Some people even believe that by simply turning the page of a brand new calendar you can forget the troubles, mistakes, or “should have’s” of their past and start again with a “clean slate”.

So many changes occurred in our homes, our communities, our country and other nations. 2021’s “fresh start” provides us all the opportunity to learn from unparalleled levels of anxiety, aggression, name calling, threats, isolation, cancellation and judgment and allows us to move forward with reconciliation and acceptance of the past to build a better future.
